A Note to My Customers: Practical Tips and Shop Updates

Hi!

I just wanted to send out a note wishing you and your loved ones well. I know this situation keeps changing on a daily basis, and many people are very stressed. Please don't forget to take care of your emotional and mental health in addition to all of the guidelines being given right now for your physical health.

Here are some simple ideas shared with me that I wanted to pass along. I hope they help in some way to get through this difficult time:

  • Cook your favorite meal. You can't beat comfort food!
  • Read a new book or revisit an old favorite. I feel like I finally have time to indulge in a good book :)
  • Get some fun cardio by dancing to your favorite song or do some relaxing stretches by following a yoga or pilates workout. I really like following FitnessBlender videos on YouTube. Exercise is so important for both your mental and physical health.
  • Focus on one day at a time. Each day, write down the things you are grateful for :)

As for shop updates, I am continuing to work through the February 28th preorders and orders. I received over 100 orders all at once- breaking every single record for my shop!! Thank you all so much!!! And thank you for your patience with me as I work through these.

I was just updated that the show I was supposed to vend at in May has been canceled. I'm worried that my summer show will be canceled as well... As a full time artist, having events canceled like this is honestly pretty terrible since they make up the majority of my income, but I'm trying to keep a positive attitude about it.

Keep an eye out for more shop releases, sales, and giveaways :) Once I'm finished with all current orders, I'm going to start planning for my next shop release.

I know things are really tough right now for everyone. Please support your local small businesses however you can, even if it's sharing their social media posts. Every little bit of support helps right now!

Let's use this as an opportunity to come together as a community. Even if we can't physically, we can all still do our part by showing love, kindness and encouragement to one another. Please take care.

Best Wishes,

Jackie
