Shipping policy
~U.S. ORDERS~
I ship USPS Priority or USPS Ground Advantage. USPS Priority includes insurance and tracking, and it generally takes one to three days for your package to arrive. USPS Ground Advantage includes a "lighter version" of tracking and generally takes three to seven days to arrive.
~INTERNATIONAL ORDERS~
Please note: You are responsible for any of your country’s Customs Fees. To remain ethical in my business practices, I will not mark international shipments as a “gift” unless it is a gift, as this is against the law. I ship via USPS First Class International, which takes anywhere from ten to thirty-five days to arrive. There may be Customs hold ups that are beyond my control. Please contact your local Post Office and/or Customs Office to inquire if your package is being held for Customs fees. Tracking is sometimes available depending on the destination.
~LOST/DAMAGED BY THE POST OFFICE~
If you have not received your package in the given time frame, please send me a message. In the event of a lost or damaged package, it may be in your best interest to contact your local post office as quickly as possible. While I am not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items by the shipping carrier, I will try my best to work with you to resolve the issue.
~RETURNED MAIL~
I will be shipping to your confirmed address. Please check your address to make sure there are no errors before you complete your order; I am not responsible if I am given the wrong address and not notified by you. If a package is returned to me because the address provided was incorrect, you will be responsible for the shipping fee to re-mail the item. I will contact you for the correct address, and the shipping fee will need to be paid before I will send the package again.
~SHIPPING DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON~
Shipping times increase during the holiday season, which is why I recommend placing your order at least 1-2 months before your holiday. If you order the same month as your holiday, I cannot guarantee I will be able to make your item for you in time.
Refund policy
I do accept returns and exchanges for certain items. I'm happy to accept exchanges for non-wearable items you feel were described incorrectly or grossly misrepresented. If you want to exchange your item, you will be responsible for shipping back the item and you will also be responsible for cost of shipping of having the item resent. I do not provide refunds. I'm sure you will be happy with my workmanship, but if you have any issue please don't hesitate to contact me BEFORE you leave neutral or negative feedback so that we can resolve any issue together. Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for: custom or personalized items, digital downloads, and items on sale.
Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Shlii.com. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Shopify or any third party services you access through Shopify. You can reference the Shopify Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.
To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering.
Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information including:
• as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
• when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list at Shlii.com;
• if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
• as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
• Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as USPS. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.
Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

• Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.

You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
• Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

Terms of service
~WARNINGS~
Many of my items have buttons or other small pieces attached, which can present a choking hazard for infants and young children.
While I don't allow my dogs into my studio space, my studio is still located inside my home. If you have serious allergies to dogs, please do not purchase anything from my shop.
Please use your discretion as I will not become liable for any incidents.
~CUSTOM ORDERS~
At this time, I'm not accepting plush commissions. I do offer color and/or cotton print variations for the majority of my plush, so please send me a message if you're interested in a different color than the one listed.
