The Importance of Buying Handmade Gifts

A few years ago, I started a challenge with myself to always include a handmade gift whenever I am giving a present to someone. The coupon below expresses my sentiments about buying Handmade. There are several local shops that make this challenge easy for me, since many of them sell local hand-crafted goods. Of course, if I can make the present myself, I do :) I also love buying gifts from Etsy, and I find this quote to be very meaningful to me, as an artisan:
