Nekocon 17 in Review
This post is a little late, but I've been recovering from the weekend's festivities! Nekocon's Artist Alley was an interesting, new experience, and I met so many wonderful, sweet people!
Highlights
- NekoYeti sold out on DAY 1!! I had people from Tumblr/Instagram/Facebook searching for our table to grab a NekoYeti. It was awesome! I've also had many people online ask about the little guy, so I'm going to start making "Adventure Yetis" with different hats and outfits. Right now I'm offering a custom Adventure Yeti experience :3 Details are on my Facebook page >> link.
- Working with my tablemates, Puck'n'Khaos, was a blast! I seriously don't even know if I would have gotten through both of those thirteen hour days without them!
- My husband was an AMAZING helper! He helped me set up and break down, rearranged items after people stopped by our table, helped me with taking orders, brought me caffeine and food, etc. The list goes on! Once again, I don't know if I would have survived without his help :)
- Having the support of my friends and also seeing old friends from the VAC was awesome!
All in all, I had a great time. I won't go into detail about the pre-reg/reg line of horror, but I will say that I felt so bad for everyone who got stuck in it!Thank you to everyone who stopped by at our table and a huge "Hi you're awesome!!" to all of the wonderful artists of Artist Alley this year :)[gallery link="file" columns="4" ids="874,870,871,873,868,872,866,867,869,875"]
