ROFcon 2015 Artist

I'm so excited to be doing ROFcon this year! It'll be my first time doing their Artist Alley. I hope it goes well!ROFcon (Ring of Fire Con), currently in its second year, is an annual multi-genre convention held in Virginia Beach. This year, it's taking place February 27th - March 1st. Right now it's at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center, but I just know this con is going to eventually grow out of that location! It's such a fun and supportive con (everyone was really positive and nice, cosplayers and staff!), and I hope our community helps it to grow. Registration is currently available, so go grab yourself a membership!Last year was ROFcon's very first event! I wore my Robin (Carrie Kelley) and ewok cosplays, and Mickel and I did a Party Thranduil and Loki cosplay together (lol!) For their first event, I was so impressed with how organized they kept things and the pleasantness of the staff! The staff was never rude, and they were cheerful and helpful! This was definitely a major deciding factor for me applying this year to their Artist Alley. We also went to some fun panels, including a ramen eating contest. I failed miserably, but someone came up to me afterwards and said they were cheering the ewok on! So all in all, I'd say ROFcon is definitely on its way to being one of Hampton Roads' main cons. They're definitely on the right track.I've been putting together a list of items I'd like to have available at my booth, so next month I'm going to be busybusy sewing!! (^-^)
