"Everything Is Awesome" Lego Tribute Art Show

A few weeks ago, Steve from Enkyskulls invited me to submit artwork to a lego tribute show he's curating at Rose City Pizza in Rosemead, CA. I immediately jumped on the opportunity, especially since I greatly admire Enkyskulls and the other artists taking part in the show. The show is called "Everything Is Awesome", and it will feature all types of mediums celebrating legos and lego culture.I decided to make a 2x2 plush lego brick in my favorite color- red! The piece will be called "You Can Step On Me"- finally, a lego brick that won't kill your foot! It's about 8"x8", made of soft red fleece, and carefully machine- and hand-sewn.

The opening reception is March 7, 2015 from 7pm to 10pm. There will be a meet and greet with the artists, free pizza and drinks. Rose City Pizza is located at 3588 Rosemead BLVD, Rosemead, CA 91770.This will be the second art show I've submitted to, and both have been on the opposite coast from me! Once again, I'm sad I won't be able to attend, but at least my plush lego brick will enjoy the party for me(^-^)
