Necklace Display Tutorial and Template

When I was prepping for ROFcon in February, I searched high and low for a way to display my necklaces in a cost effective way. I stumbled upon Stella+Hodge's necklace display tutorial and loved the stand that they made. I used their instructions and the template provided to make a necklace stand using USPS Priority boxes. I didn't have any decorative paper on hand, so I painted the cardboard. Here is how my stand turned out:[gallery columns="2" link="file" size="medium" ids="3267,3268"]I am so happy with the final result, made two of them, and have already used them for a second show! I've even had people compliment the "wooden" stand and was so excited to show them that it is a shipping box! Here is the link to Stella+Hodge's tutorial: http://stellaandhodge.blogspot.com/2009/06/how-to-show-necklace.html The template they provide is teeny tiny and you need to enlarge it. If you don't have any photo editing software, I've created two 8.5"x11" files with the left and right side of the template that you can easily print out. Simply cut out the template, tape it together, and trace it on your cardboard. To help the cardboard have cleaner fold lines, I firmly pressed along the line with a butter knife. Also, if you do decide to paint them instead of using decorative paper, be sure to prime the cardboard first. Here are the template files if you would like to print them out:

Simply right-click and select "Save As..." from the pop-up box. They will be saved to your computer so that you can print them. If you have any trouble, feel free to contact me and I can email the template to you(^-^)/
