Post Shobou Con 2015
I am so grateful to everyone who visited my booth at Shobou Con. I met so many new, awesome people and also saw a lot of familiar faces! There were also tons of super kawaii cosplayers!! The highlight of the day was when a little girl spotted my Koneko plushies and blurted out, "OHMYGOSHSOOCUTEEEE!!" I couldn't stop laughing! Seriously the cutest thing ever.
Another highlight of the day is that I sold out of all my brand new kitty headband designs!! The pink cat ears sold out extremely fast, then the baby blue. I had one pair of lavender ears left when a girl and her mom walked up. The girl immediately wanted them, but her mom suggested they roam the artist alley first. They ended up coming back and she bought the last pair(^-^) It was so much fun to see so many people walking around the con wearing my kitty headbands! I'll be adding new ones to my shop as I make them. I have so many fur colors that I can't wait to try out, including lime green, white, black, and purple.
Tidewater Comicon
My next show is Tidewater Comicon in Virginia Beach. This will be my biggest event of the year, and I am extremely excited about it. Last night I wrote out a list of new items I want to make for it, including greeting cards, tons of new Merpug prints, new prints of my other characters like StarMew and Yeticorn, and some new acrylic and wooden charms.Since I recently purchased an embroidery machine, I'll also be updating Yeticorn, Baby Yeti, and StarMew with beautiful embroidered designs!! Last night I sketched out a new face for Yeticorn. I hope you love it as much as I do!
