Thankful for Each Moment Left
For anyone new to my page, the end of 2017 and start of 2018 has been very tough for me and my family. Our dog, Beasley, became extremely sick in mid-October and was violently ill the rest of the month into November. He lost so much weight. We took him to our vet, another vet […]
Whimsii Messenger Photo Shoot
A few weeks ago, I planned for the Whimsii Messenger release to happen today. Well, I started to panic a bit when the weather kept working against me! It’s been so rainy and gray here in Norfolk, VA. But finally, I had an awesome break yesterday with some beautiful sunshine! I usually have to do a […]
Follow Friday: Star Whisper
Happy Friday, everyone! While the “Follow Friday” movement began on Twitter, I’m taking things a step further and will be featuring my favorite artists on my blog! Each feature will have a short interview so you can learn more about them. We’re starting out with a Norfolk artist and one of my friends, the very […]
Follow Friday: Whimsical Wonderhaven
Today’s feature is Whimsical Wonderhaven! I’m so happy to see her business flourishing! Learn more about this artist with our mini interview: Mini Interview […]

Follow Friday: Miniature Inspirations
Today’s feature is the very sweet and talented Maggie of Miniature Inspirations. I first met Maggie at Nekocon a few years ago and loved her unique creations! She needle-felts the cutest little creatures you’ve ever seen. In addition to her work, Maggie is also an amazing model and cosplayer! Learn more about this artist with […]
How to Cut Faux Fur

This particular fabric is extremely thick and difficult to work with, so I’ve actually sped up the video even though it doesn’t look like it! I also wanted to add that using cardstock paper for your pattern pieces makes […]
